AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
1.
Expands grant
recipient eligibility to include students enrolled in a STEM related field.
2.
Requires an
eligible grant recipient to provide proof that the enrolling private
postsecondary institution has provided them with a matching grant or
scholarship, or both.
3.
Increases the
time a student can complete their degree program before being required to pay
the Commission back.
